Role Summary:

The FP&A Analyst will be responsible to develop and lead finance processes that support business functional leaders to make strategic decision on financial management, investments and growth opportunities. The position will have a balance between day-to-day activities and process improvement projects, including headcount and cost management, financial reporting, process governance, SAAS metric monitoring, and financial long-range modeling.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • In this role, you will play a critical role in driving the unpreceded growth of Predix ServiceMax, the industry leading software for Field Service Management.

  • Own cost management process: analyze base/variable costs, monitor headcount, perform actual vs. budget analysis, and build cost controls to help drive capital allocation rigor across the portfolio.

  • Prepare and present long-range forecast analysis to support executive investment and commercial decisions. Compare actual results to the original forecast.

  • Build and maintain the set of SAAS financial and operational metrics

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Engineering and Product Management providing finance support that focus on expense control and profitability of the business over both short and long-range time horizon. Suggest solutions, resulting implications, key actions and strategic implications

  • Support financial and data-driven aspects of Engineering and Product Management including NPI ROI, go-to-market strategy, roadmap standardization, and cross-GE Digital product rationalization.

  • Proactively work to identify, assess and manage financial risks. Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to take a drug test and submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process

  • Must be willing to work out of GE Digital headquarter located in San Ramon, CA Desired Characteristics:

  • FMP graduates

  • Previous experience in enterprise software or industrial IoT is strongly desired

  • Confidence and proven ability to influence and work across multiple key stakeholders

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability as a self-starter

  • Creative and innovative problem solving skills

  • High financial systems aptitude

  • Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, Tableau, and/or Salesforce.com
