Role Summary:

The global Marketing Manager for MDH is responsible for the definition and execution of the Marketing plan for this sub-segment of Monitoring Systems, within budget limits and in coordination with both product management and regions worldwide.

With strong business sense, the global Marketing manager is able to act as a "wing to wing" marketeer, identifying opportunities, influencing stakeholders to shape roadmaps to address them and drives the commercial activation of the developed solutions

Essential Responsibilities:

1) Pulse on the market

" Performs clinical and industry trend analysis, obtains market metrics (ie. sizes, shares, etc...) and when possible win/loss tracking supported by the Customer and Market Intelligence team (CMI).

" Collects, reworks and shares competitive information to support roadmap development and to support the creation of commercial content for the distribution network.

" Identifies and assessing market and distribution risks and developing a plan to mitigate them.

" Supports development of regional KOL's in collaboration with Regional Product Marketing. Connects to healthcare societies and advocacy groups to identify and select KOL's for thought leadership.

2) Supports the shaping of product roadmaps

" Applies strong culture of business casing to support roadmap creation. Identifies and prioritizes business opportunities through proper quantification and qualification methods (ie. market research, primary and secondary).

" Provides customer and market insights from regions to product management, engineering and global design to provide to support the development of roadmaps

" Supports product management in pre-market testing of prototypes and new product ideas.

3) Marketing activation of NPIs

" Develops global Marketing plans with strong orientation to results aiming to grow financial (ie. revenues, margin) and marketing KPIs (ie. share).

" Supports the assessment of commercial readiness by the regions: service, distribution, pricing, etc...

" Defines brand (naming and trademarks), value proposition(s), and competitive positioning claims for NPIs.

" Coordinates development of a communication plan Advertising and Promotion team.

" Coordinates content creation training material development with the support of the Advertising and Promotion team.

" Drives and support demand generation activities in the regions, both online and offline, according to budget and launch strategy requirements. Ie. drives global event planning and execution.

" Develops a plan and budget for evidence generation to support selected NPI's and installed base products.

" Works with the regions to analyze the installed base, define programs to improve customer loyalty, share of wallet and retention.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field

  2. 8+ years’ experience in marketing, product marketing or related field

  3. Leadership skills to lead and/or influence teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy

  4. Excellent oral and written communications skills

  5. Ability to motivate and influence a cross functional team

  6. Strong analytical and process skills

Desired Characteristics:

  1. MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field

  2. 10+ years’ experience in marketing, product marketing or related field

  3. Deep marketing expertise in market & customer insights, product commercialization and branding

  4. Healthcare product/industry acumen
