Job Description
The Process Quality Engineer is responsible for product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge. Requires developing a strong foundation of functional skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.
Essential Responsibilities
The Process Quality Engineer will:
Provide shop floor support for manufacturing
Accountable for both quality assurance and quality control of products, manufacturing processes and outside vendor services
Own gage and CMM validation and out of tolerance investigations
Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations
Lead team in defining effective Root Cause Corrective Actions
Lead investigation for Work Station Audit findings, Product Audit findings, and Customer Returns
Support manufacturing engineering team to monitor and analyze process capability and define process improvement plans
Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
Work together with Rutland team across all levels of the organization
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing or Quality OR 4 years of military experience) ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S):
Ability / Flexibility to work varied shifts to support 3-shift operation
