General Electric Process Engineer for Pinch & Roll Business - 2nd Shift in Rutland, Vermont
Job Description Summary
The Process Engineer will be responsible for the engineering associated with manufacturing of jet engine airfoils. Requires mastering a body of theoretical knowledge and a strong foundation of functional skills and knowledge of relevant technologies. Requires ability to perform process improvements and develop improvement strategies in a complex organization.

Essential Responsibilities:
In addition, as the Process Engineer, you will:
Define and control production process including tooling and equipment for specialized processes
Facilitate and drive process improvements to meet business metrics
Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment
Develops new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations
Works together with business leadership at SPB and EB level
Works together with shop operators and programing technicians
Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done
Delivers solutions as part of a cross-functional team
Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
