General Electric Lead Project Networking Engineer in Rochester, New York
Job Description Summary
The Lead Project Networking Engineer will provide technical expertise in Private LTE design, configuration, installation, commissioning. Work within the Projects group on technical responses to RFP’s, technically train field Service Engineers as well as Sales personnel on Private LTE solutions from end-to-end.
Private LTE BBU and EPC System Design, Configuration, Installation guidance, Commissioning.
Work within the Projects group on RFP Technical response support.
Training and training development/deployment on Private LTE.
Communicates with all areas of INDC in supporting Customers including; Sales, Technology, Product Services, Quality, Manufacturing, and any others as required, to resolve customer technical issues.
Specify needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done.
Lead representative for supporting diverse clients in the region
Work on the basis of predefined contracts and frameworks. Some latitude to deviate from those conditions.
Responsible for major contributions to the development of an operational year plan for own department activities of the team.
Provide backup support to Technical Support Team as needed
Other duties to support the team
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years experience.
