Role Summary : The Executive Assistant will provide Administrative and Executive Support for the Engineering leader at GE Digital and his/her organization This person will be expected to perform a variety of tasks, help keep long term projects on track, manage the engagement calendar for the leader with (travel or virtual) periodic visits to multiple engineering sites and ensure operating mechanisms such as 1:1, team meetings, All hands take place as planned. The ideal candidate for this role will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and a meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the executive’s calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters

  • Design and manage the engagement calendar for the leader with (travel or virtual) periodic visits to multiple engineering sites

  • Design and ensure (including content coordination) operating mechanisms such as 1:1s, team meetings (including in-person/virtual offsites), all hands meeting etc. are conducted with an eye on recipient / employee experience

  • Draft and review organization announcements for Engineering leader in partnership with Internal communications

  • Manage travel arrangements and create & submit expense reports

  • Provide special meeting/event planning and logistics (offsites, all-hands, team activities, retirement parties, etc)

  • Compile and format leadership pitches, organization communications, and other special projects

  • Maintain and refine internal processes that provide support to the team, while also coordinating internal and external resources to expedite workflow

  • Represent the leader / office, in alignment with GE leadership behavior of act with humility

  • Able to incorporate creative approaches to various projects by taking initiative and working independently

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Administration and Support).
