Job Description Summary

At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

As Plant HR Generalist, you will be providing support to the site HR Leader and to the client HRM’s on daily HR activities. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions and apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and the correct application of HR policies, procedures, practices, processes staffing and organization

  • Assure that appropriate training opportunities are in place

  • Investigate and provide advice and council regarding concerns about policies, procedures, practices or contractual issues

  • Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment

  • Guarantee support on staffing and organization process

  • Provide support to key HR processes such as HR dashboard, talent review, compensation planning, communication, and performance management


  • Bachelor/Master degree from an accredited university (ideally Law, HR, Economics)

  • Experience in HR roles

  • Proactive and self-starter

  • Able to work independently and to communicate with stakeholders all-across the organization

  • Confident with digital tools and media

  • Fluent English and Italian

  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
