Job Description

Essential responsibilities

  • Defines and controls production process including tooling and equipment

  • Validates design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment

  • Executes routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributes to technological developments in team

  • Works together with people from the business unit

  • Works within a team setting. Alternatively: executing routine as well as complex analysis

  • The Lead Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate up to high complexity

  • In this role he/she will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning

  • Develops manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI), documenting process changes, driving process / fixture improvements, driving lead and cycle time improvements, cost of Quality (COQ), and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) actions.Participates in LEAN initiative, and engage Six Sigma tools for process improvements


  • Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college or Bachelor Degree and few years of relevant work experience

  • Previous experience in production/manufacturing domain

  • Fluent Italian and English

  • EU work permit

Desired characterstics

  • Mechanical background/degree is preferred

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact

  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously

  • Effective problem identification and solution skills

  • Proven analytical and organizational ability
