General Electric Inventory Specialist in Rivalta di Torino, Italy

Job Description Summary

As Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Keeping under control the Turns & Inventory KPI’s within the Cash priority

• Collaborating with Finance department, COEs and Material Planning to define Inventory Operating Plan

• Standardizing the applicable KPI’s and reporting

• Promoting, monitoring and leveraging improvement tasks across the shop

Essential Responsibilities

  • Be expert in SAP reporting for all the main pillars of Inventory, RAW, Work In Progress (WIP) and Finished Goods Inventory (FGI), deep diving in their composition

  • Support the COEs in weekly in-out process & reporting, being the central reference for the SAP discipline, standardizing the applicable tools and promoting use of digital technology for the daily activity

  • Support leaders in Turns improvement plan control collaborating with cross functional team across all the shops

  • Harmonize applicable solution across all COEs

  • Elaborate report of Incoming after each MRP run to analyze adherence of planned material to planned output and Inventory targets. Identification of surplus and definition of needs to implement different planning parameters.

  • Analyze actual conversion performance, LT analysis to compare with system information and propose improvement tasks

  • Participate to lean events in the shops, supporting the team in keeping focus on Turns impact

  • As team member, participate and/or lead cross functional tasks

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college, Industrial, Mechanical, Aeronautical preferred

  • Experience in Manufacturing/Production/Materials roles with a focus on process flow

  • Ability to lead programs / projects in a matrix organization and with multiple stakeholders both internal and external to the organization

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Fluent in English and Italian

  • EU work permit
