Job Description Summary
You will be responsible for the management and/or preparation of commercial proposals for contractual service agreements for the onshore wind industry in the Asian-Pacific region.
This role includes commercial consultation and review of new equipment related services opportunities, leadership of aftermarket services commercial activity, management of services commercial risk profiles, pricing strategy, cost considerations, and closely coordinating with various internal teams to ensure the health of services sales across the region. There is a high level of autonomy required and well established commercial judgement is required for achievement of necessary outcomes.
Manage and develop proposals including proposals for service contracts for GE and non-GE wind turbines in the form of responses to formal RFQ/RFI/tenders and ad hoc contractual proposals; lead or participate in direct customer negotiations; ensure deals deliver customer and shareholder value; drive competitive pricing. May include compiling and submitting required formal RFI/RFP/tender documentation.
Ensure proposals are compliant with company policy and thoroughly vetted through a risk review prior to submission.
Report out on proposal activity during periodic deal or operational reviews. This involves articulating commercial strategy, potential pain points, and specific support which may be required to progress deal making.
Develop and maintain specialized knowledge of latest commercial developments in the renewable energy and onshore wind industry and communication skills to influence others on topics within field.
Lead commercial strategy and policy development for digital services and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
In-depth knowledge of best practices and how our own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers.
Take new perspective on existing solutions.
Use technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.

Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor Degree of Science in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Commerce or Law.
Extensive experience in Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, or equivalent experience associated with gas / steam turbine / power plant, hydro, wind power products/services, or software industry.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with reviewing customer specifications, proposal development, contract development and direct negotiations for equipment and/ or services sales and consortium agreements.
Fluent in English.
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50%, when permitted again.
Wide range of Commercial experience in the Energy and/or Industrial Services sectors
Experience working with and leading international teams
Experience with both Contractual and Transactional services businesses
Experience managing large, complex deals with multi-functional interactions. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple individual and team responsibilities for multiple complex projects
High motivation level; self-starter with strong leadership and negotiation skills
Ability to work effectively perform effectively in cross-functional, non-hierarchical, team-oriented environments.
