As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner for the GE Hydro Solutions business, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of the full spectrum of talent recruitment activities, from research and sourcing, attraction, assessment, through interview and offer, and all the operational and administrative work associated with those activities.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the recruiting activity for a mix of external hires and internal recruitment for the GE Hydro Solutions business in North America.
Responsible for researching, sourcing, evaluating, and selecting talent at all levels.
Craft desirable job descriptions and passive candidate marketing plans that drive successful recruiting while ensuring diverse candidate slates.
Be a trusted advisor to your hiring managers & candidates and have some influencing capabilities.
Use Applicant Tracking System (Workday) to track and handle interview slates and Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools to develop robust candidate pipelines.
Deliver quality candidate slates by using both validated and creative recruiting methodologies.
Be naturally self-directed and work as an individual contributor supporting assigned client groups.
Guide interview team to use capability-based interviewing techniques.
Communicates our employee value proposition and is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
Leverage various recruitment tools and professional social sites to develop a continuous pipeline of talent.
Help support GE’s diversity strategy to attract a diverse workforce to the company by hiring talented people of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and styles.
Capable of working cross-functionally with matrixed teams to meet overall business recruiting goals.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
3+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience
Desired Characteristics
Proven track record of developing sourcing strategies to engage passive candidates
Experience with Workday Applicant Tracking System
Prior experience recruiting for niche engineering roles
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Previous Hydro, Renewable Energy, Industrial, and/or Power industry recruiting experience preferred
Bilingual in English and French
