Job Description Summary
Responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions for real-time monitoring of the production application and configurations for CCL Fusion application. The candidate will be responsible for technically leading a team of highly talented and motivated system administrators & Operation engineers. You will be responsible for implementing latest monitoring technologies, Regression testing suite based in Selenium for successful quarterly upgrades and ensuring the uptime SLAs are achieved.
Roles and Responsibilities
Owns and is accountable for ensuring compliance with all application policies including HPA, security and code reviews across all processes within scope
Leads complex, multi-disciplinary teams in resolution of high profile outages/application incidents leveraging contingent worker support team, internal supporting organizations and Application Operations coworkers when appropriate
Owns and is accountable for pertinent contingent worker’s access and work prioritization
Proactively identifies and removes obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team Demonstrates mastery of the intricacies of interactions and dynamics in Agile teams • Uses disciplined approaches to monitor application platform and service progress via effective information dashboards for operational metrics, defect, quality, change control, and compliance
Uses data, practical knowledge and innovative insights to drive timely decisions, determine appropriate courses of action, and forecast future needs while managing risk and uncertainty for the team
Beyond driving day-to-day operational tempos and rigor, participates in activities for strategic business rhythms including Application Architecture and Roadmaps for the coming year
Creates a culture of customer focus and high performance to drive innovation through continuous customer engagement to facilitate appropriate application upgrades and enhancements
Navigates through ambiguity, prioritizes conflicting asks and shows ability to adapt to changing priorities
Demonstrates skills in collaborating with different stakeholders, influencing decisions and an ability to take strategic view
Work with Operations and Functional teams to define and maintain regression testing scope (manage coverage/test plan/data)
Coordinate execution of test cycles and communicate status/risks to stakeholders
Ensure testing team has the tools and information available to execute test cycles in a timely manner (system access, KT, test management system administration etc.)
Drive the defect resolution process for problems uncovered in RT (lead daily scrums, assign/follow up/escalate as necessary, provide technical and/or functional direction, work with Oracle on SRs etc.)
Develop/maintain test automation framework (technologies: Selenium, Java, TestNG, Jenkins) and provide technical help to test automation engineers as necessary*
Provide functional help to testers when needed (manual test script design, test data, finding the right contacts within the organization etc.)*
