Job Description Summary
In the current process of business grow, facing projects with edge technology Offshore Wind Platform (Haliade X) - the Electrical Specialist Engineer will play an important role in the successful execution of projects. He/she will act as key person for the HV and MV electrical task at site during the commissioning phase. Main activities starting with the creation and validation of the electrical rules used during the commissioning phase (LOTO, Switching protocol and Electrical Safety Management Plan), preparation for onshore and offshore commissioning, aligning with EHS and project operations teams to validate commissioning test plan in accordance with Local and GE electrical rules and finally achieving technical and EHS excellence on both site/remote support to project and site teams until the project closure. Quality & Customer Satisfaction will be the main goals.

Essential Responsibilities:
Lead the execution of the electrical test in compliance with electrical rules.
Support in the documentation creation for Haliade commissioning procedures considering the most up to date GE electrical standard and local electrical standard.
Support Package managers & follow-up Project execution for all electrical operation.
Support technicians at site to make sure electrical rules are understood and followed
Create relationship with Customer to clarify interfaces and build a partnership on the electrical operation of the commissioning.
Technical support onsite & remotely to onshore and offshore teams and remote operation center (ROC) teams, giving first support and managing investigation non-conformities with Design Engineering teams. Manage defects and NCR (non-conformance reports). Plan support from supplier or design teams accordingly.
Continuous process improvements to optimize security and / or reduce costs; special attention should be paid to EHS compliance. Focus on Digitalization & data analytics.
Follow-up test in previous manufacturing stages and prepare commissioning protocols both onshore and offshore to assure technical de-risking and perform smooth offshore commissioning.
Special focus in power converter and HV power drive train commissioning and technical support.
Required Qualifications:
Technical diploma in electrotechnics, industrial engineering, with similar or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years working with HV, electrical AC components (switchgear, transformers and converters).
Desired Characteristics:
English language (Spanish, French and Portuguese languages [as a plus])
Experience in wind turbines commissioning and projects preparation. Experience with suppliers' management & manufacturing lines is a plus
Experience in wind turbines technical support and experience in leading multidisciplinary teams (design, suppliers, quality and project)
Experience with design or commissioning power converters, PM generators, HV transformers and MVSG.
Experience with Electrical drive trains in wind industry
Experience with use of quality tools (8D, SIPOC, FMEA)
