Job Description Summary
As the Europe Software Services Transformation SME, you will play a meaningful part in the energy transition, helping our customers to achieve maximum value from their software investments. This role will be part of the Global Services & Support team.
In this role, you will serve as the Europe SME supporting our efforts to optimize and scale our delivery capabilities. You will focus on setting up a framework for end to end transformation of our delivery and support processes to ensure optimal mix of resourcing and deliver committed value to our internal regional teams
You will outline scope of work, define terms of engagement, talent requirements (Working with HR), finalizing the location(s), evaluate and finalize partners, identifying IT infrastructure needs & IT Security/compliance. In addition, working with the Global Delivery Director you will strategically plan 3 year transformation framework for the regional business and create a solution design.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated delivery leader with experience in leading delivery transition and ensuring seamless deployment and operations. You will be equipped with change management and influencing skills to work with a regional team of service leaders and solution experts and be able to work across a diverse, cross-functional team to achieve delivery excellence and efficient Cost to Serve for global Services organization.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Partner with Region Services/Support Leader and Global Services Director/Transition SME to develop and implement a framework to scale our resourcing mix to grow from 30% to 50% in optimized-cost locations.This framework should include resource recruitment, resource development and clear success metrics on quality delivery
Help develop business cases and prioritization frameworks focused on delivering maximum value to the business
Accountable for creating the solution design including people, process and technology landscape in line with the target operating model and industry leading practices
Work closely with identified process leads and SME’s to establish the guiding principles, approach and expected outcomes
Partner with multiple internal and external stakeholders to prioritize and coordinate multiple programmes simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment whilst ensuring global alignment of priorities
Develop standard delivery models between the regions and delivery centers, governance and metrics including SLA’s and performance measures.
Drive an execution culture that is rooted in Lean principles: Establish daily and visual management for standard operational KPIs.
Work closely with various stakeholders to develop an annual planning process for volume and capability planning in line with region and business growth
Develop training and enablement models to ensure readiness and quality of delivery
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in business, science, engineering, technology or related discipline
15+ years’ experience in projects/services people leadership, management consulting or setting up and running global delivery centers with minimum 50 resources
Prior experience of working in top 10 global System Integrators (SI’s) and managing similar global responsibility in a shared services environment
Knowledge of services transition methodologies, tools and templates
Good working knowledge of Lean and experience implementing Lean to drive business transformation
Culturally sensitive, capable of handling interactions with a “global mindset”
Strong project management and facilitation skills
Experience managing the life-cycle of complex initiatives, unblocking teams and increasing the speed of delivery, negotiating resources and priorities, learning to force multiply and escalating effectively

Demonstrated experience with software system implementation organizations – prior experience delivering utility software project outcomes / products is desired.
