General Electric Sr. Sales Manager - MMP Portfolio in Remote, Florida
Job Description Summary
Customer-facing sales leader with global business line responsibility for existing Multi-year Maintenance (MMP) contract governance. Partnership with pole/ regional Sales/Services, Finance & Fulfillment Teams to enforce implementation of robust & standard global processes to efficiently manage dedicated MMP regional portfolio. In addition- focus on progressing associated opportunity pipeline through sales cycle and event-driven orders closure milestones while anchored to associated business KPI/ metrics.

Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for financial & operational performance of existing MMP contracts within assigned geographical portfolio
Operationalize global standards for MMP contracts- from commercial opportunity identification through fulfillment. Partner with Regional ITR (sales & services), Finance & Fulfillment Teams to enforce implementation of robust & standard global processes to efficiently manage portfolio
Manage MMP portfolio profitability via strategy definition & operationalizing Lean. Through daily management rhythm(s)- ensure global financial targets of commitment, orders, sales & margin are achieved. Maintain overall wing-to-wing source systems data quality
Upsell services offerings (parts, services, digital) while supporting commercial & initial technical discussions with internal deal teams & customers throughout the ITO (Inquiry-to-Order) process
Support regional ITR (Inquiry-to-Remittance) team to oversee commercial opportunity pipeline to ensure needed sales speed to meet MMP orders goals by supporting deal teams in removing internal obstacles, adjusting deal strategy, aligning resources, material, and senior leadership support as needed
Understand customer economics, market profile & fleet/ unit operating cycles to identify target products & services opportunity pipeline into assigned segment of portfolio
In collaboration with products [replace-in-kind (RIK)] team, provide formal input based on backlog, active commercial opportunity pipeline, targets, and expertise into the Sales, Inventory, and Operation Planning (SI&OP) process for MMP orders and sales volume with associated margin estimates for future year capacity planning
Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices for process improvement. Stay informed of industry trends to apprise customer service excellence
Co-lead annual contract review cycle to pace medium to long term contract health- leveraging customer economic models to predict customer value generation
Lead range of simple to complex continuous improvement projects - from concept to completion - with cross functional teams of sales, commercial managers, product managers, engineers, pricing leaders and adjacent functions
Required Qualifications
For dedicated resources in USA -
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree/ MS Engineering Degree from an accredited university or college
10 or more years of experience in the power generation or gas power industrial industries with both strategic and operational experience
Knowledge of technical fundamentals of GE gas power products, comfortable with technical and commercial discussions with customers, and demonstrated ability to identify what is critical in ambiguous commercial situations
Deep expertise in understanding financials of Power Generation and/or Industrial customer businesses in a variety of market structures. Demonstrated ability to apply that knowledge analytically to calculate financial value of a MMP opportunity/ contract

Ability to work within cross-functional teams in the implementation of complex projects, to include working concurrently on several long-term projects
Ability to work independently toward strategic objectives without task-level instructions
Ability to make decisions with incomplete, ambiguous, and conflicting information
Strong data analysis skills, comfortable using and building detailed worksheets or similar models

The salary range for this position is $122,000.00 - $157,000.00 USD Annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for sales incentive bonus.
