Job Description Summary

As our Global Sourcing Leader (m/f/d) you will manage GE Additives supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending as well as implement and create efficient sourcing and category management strategies. You will be able to appraise and improve our sourcing activities by analyzing the company’s spending, supplying partnerships and new possibilities.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

• Create and implement Sourcing strategy to support business growth and evolve commodity strategies

• Lead the Sourcing team to achieve product cost targets, manage supply risk and manage outcomes and relationships with strategic suppliers

• Develop global and comprehensive supplier / buyer contractual and strategic relationships, managing both price and cash impact

• Develop negotiations strategies and drive negotiations to achieve stated goals and objectives with technology partners or team members and in accordance with the strategy, drive supplier selection, development, and overall supplier management

• Drive Sourcing initiatives including best cost country (BCC), productivity, rationalization of supply base, sole source reduction, cycle reduction, on time delivery, quality improvements, and cash flow improvement

• Provide guidance on growth operational rigor and organizational structure and develop functional talent Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business, management, logistics, production or engineering or equivalent knowledge / experience

• Experience in a global manufacturing environment and managerial experience in a global matrix organization

• Versatile knowledge in Sourcing Management

• Fluent English language skills

• German language skills are a plus
