Job Description Summary
The Market Vice President sets the sales strategy and manages the sales activities within a geographic area totaling $300M of business annually. The Vice President proactively defines & implements the sales strategy and leads a team of sales managers, account executives, and sales professionals to execute the strategy. The position is responsible for developing strong relationships and improved outcomes for customers as well as market and order visibility, market share, and profitability.

Essential Responsibilities:
The position plays a critical role in executing big deals, business outcomes, and customer solutions. This role is a key part of the division leadership team, partnering with the division service sales and service delivery leaders to drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
• Sets the overall sales strategy for a geographic area (“market”)
• Manages overall sales revenue, margin, cost targets, orders goals and other financial goals in a manner that achieves business targets; drives financial accountability throughout the organization to ensure all targets for the organization are met
• Leads a large and experienced sales team, selling products across GE Healthcare’s vast portfolio
• Mobilizes and motivates the sales team to fulfill GE Healthcare’s strategic business goals; leads team to develop sales funnel for growth
• Manages the allocation of employee resources across the market to ensure the best alignment of market opportunities and sales professionals
• Demonstrate the ability to generate business opportunities that leverage the suite of GE Healthcare’s offerings in the market place
• Establishes and fosters customer relationships that have significant impact on the organization
• Builds long term relationship with customers; provides leadership and direction in crucial customer interactions
• Strengthens GEHC’s external image
• Effectively utilizes key industry information and market knowledge to gain competitive advantage in market place
• Accountable for positive leadership and culture of the region through ongoing direction, coaching, and career development of leaders
• Leads and cultivates a culture of integrity and boundaryless collaboration
• Collaborates with leaders across GE in order to ensure that the best practices for the organization are identified and adopted
• Ensure all quality and compliance goals are met and that a culture of compliance is pervasive throughout the organization
• Promotes a safe working environment and ensures compliance with applicable EHS policies and procedures Quality Specific Goals
Qualifications/Requirements:
BA/BS degree
10+ years of successful sales/marketing leadership experience with 5+ years of successful senior level sales management and general management experience
Sales and service commercial leadership experience
Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives
Enterprise solutions mindset and strategic trade off experience
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to lead a team that is accountable for financial commitments to a business unit
Exceptional business acumen
Ability to negotiate complex and strategic agreements
Knowledge and experience with large and complex sales and marketing processes
Excellent communication, influencing, and team-building skills. Must be highly skilled at written and verbal communication both inside the company and with external customers
Ability to influence and drive change cross-functionally in a highly-matrixed environment
Healthcare/MedTech Industry experience
Willingness and ability to travel
Strong People Leader skills to drive a highly effective, inclusive team
