Job Description
Reporting directly to the Commissioning Project manager the deputy role will be Hub at our new Doggerbank Project to build the largest Wind Farm in the World... based and assisting to deliver the Customer acceptance of the onshore and offshore project commissioning scope for our new Doggerbank Project.
Roles and Responsibilities
The deputy role assists the project commissioning manager when they are not available by attending internal and external meetings and delivering timely and accurate communications within the project commissioning teams and continually keeping the Commissioning Project Manager updated.
Assist with the management of all Project Commissioning personnel requirements and operational performance activities related to testing and validation of instrumentation components & controls systems of the equipment in accordance with the design objectives / specifications for operational use.
Assist cascade the processes and planning required to ensure flawless execution and seamless transition from Commissioning to O&M.
Assist with the resolution of tasks in areas of Commissioning operational management, manages internal and external cross functional resources to provide resolutions.
Assists with the management of teams EHS performance.
Assist with preparing commissioning productivity reports, quality updates and implementing the associated continual improvement feedback processes within the commissioning team through execution analysis and implementation of improvement process.
Required Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience/knowledge.
Commissioning experience in electrical systems.
High Voltage experience
Electrical Project Management experience
Desired Characteristics
Project managing electrical projects and people management both onshore and offshore.
Ability to work from procedures, as built drawings & System Schematics.
High degree of EHS and quality awareness.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
High degree of flexibility, highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure
Strong interpersonal people management and leadership skills.
Ability to prepare and follow Tests and documentation check lists, test plans.
PC knowledge of Microsoft applications. #DB
