Role Summary:

The Services PowerUp Engineer will be responsible for application support and requisition fulfillment of CM&U’s (Conversions, Modifications and Upgrades) for the growing Wind installed base.

Essential Responsibilities:

As a Services PowerUp Engineer, you will:

Support PowerUp operations for select customers from initial estimation through implementation and validation

Support sales team by working directly with customers to identify potential products to meet their needs

Cost estimation for engineered CM&U’s

Respond to various technical questions regarding Wind Turbine products and systems solutions

Act as single point of contact for technical decisions with project teams and end customers to ensure customer satisfaction and business success

Effectively mitigate technical risks and, coordinate the resolution of all technical issues for PowerUp and CMU’s


BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering from an accredited college or university plus 3 years of experience or Master’s degree plus 1 years of experience

Desired Characteristics:

Working knowledge of the Wind Engineering CM&U and Design-to-Order processes

Knowledge of Wind technology and the levers available to improve performance in an aftermarket

Demonstrated ability to meet goals and objectives

Proven strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization

Proven success working with external customers, including the ability to find customer value and help the Sales team win deals

Proven success embracing and leading change initiatives Strong Project Management experience

Strong Oral and written communication skills
