Job Description Summary
• Our PAE Mechanical Engineering group is responsible for design study, drawing and BOM deliverables.
• We provide support to our customers, Suppliers, Manufacturing, Sourcing and Site.
• We are responsible for development & maintenance of Standards and take ownership for New Units Req Project execution, NPI support, ITO support, RCAs, Cost out efforts.
• We work closely with our Consulting and Principal engineers, Technical leaders, Sourcing and with projects team.

Job Description
We are responsible for:
Inlet & Exhaust Systems
Inlet Filter House with all types of filter systems & performance/power augmentation systems & anti-icing system, Inlet duct, Inlet Plenum, Exhaust diffuser/plenum, Bypass damper, Stack & Silencers, and all associated support structures.
Structures, Enclosures & Mechanical Equipment
All Structures including Enclosure and barrier walls, GT Base Frame, Load gear, Starting means & Turning gear, Toolkit, etc.
Our PAE Mechanical group covers Built to Model (BTM) approach to all latest GT frames (Enclosure/barrier wall, Inlet duct, Exhaust diffuser), Built to Print (BTP) & Built to Specification (BTS) for Mechanical Systems (Frame, Starting means, Load gears, Maintenance Tools)
Job Description
Activities contributing to the design and development of PAE Mechanical products, solutions and systems, including activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components.
Responsible for execution in line with scheduled activities.
Autonomous role focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.
Some decisions may be required, they will be supported with some Technical Leaders guidance.

Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards, Design Customer Operating Procedures, Specifications, Government and Commercial Standards, and special security requirements.
Understanding of key business drivers and deliverables, uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
Document technical data generated to substantiate the assigned components, assemblies, processes and/or systems consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments.
Participate as a presenter in technical reviews.
Lead the solution of complex technical problems.
Concurrently work on multiple projects, monitoring progress and quality, and ensuring schedule requirements are met.
Lead the implementation of innovative analysis design, development concepts of processes and systems.
Conduct assessments and develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems.
Lead the development of components, assemblies, processes, or systems and solve complex high-impact problems.
Developing in-depth own knowledge of a technical discipline, using prior experience, and acquired technical expertise to execute assigned tasks.
Effectively communicate and provide recommendations to internal customers through the analysis, preparation, and presentation of technical data.
Execute the design (Drawings & BOM, can be with support of drafting team), analysis, or evaluation of assigned tasks/projects using engineering principles in line with PAE Gas Power business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
18.- Creation of project schematics for hardware owned by you
Owns the design responsibility for assigned Gas Turbine Mechanical accessories systems; e.g. Enclosures, Fire Protection, Inlet, Exhaust, Heating & Ventilation
This work will include mechanical engineering for all products, supported with guidance.
Lead design improvement efforts, i.e. simplification, improved reliability, reduced installed cost, shortened maintenance time, etc.
Qualification / Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
Solid contribution in a similar role or previous position

Presentation Skills: Ability to communicate with Senior Leadership.
Demonstrated ability in managing own projects
Strong problem-solving skills with guidance
Desired Characteristics
MS Degree in mechanical, or related engineering field
3-4 Years of experience in GT Accessories field.
Experience working with Gas Turbine Mechanical Inlet & Exhaust systems accessories systems
Self -starter, clear thinker, capable of identifying solutions to problems and driving them to resolution
CFD or FEA previous experience
GE Power procedures/Tools knowledge
