Job Description Summary

(DOA).

Safety leader shall be experienced in systems engineering, a cross-functional engineering discipline centered on an approach, mindset, and process. All activities that consider both the business and the technical needs of the customers with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the users needs.

He/She shall be experienced in execution a robust process of design, creation, and optimization of systems, consisting of identification and quantification of system requirements, performance of design trade studies, selection and implementation of the best designs and verification that the design is properly integrated and executed. Process that proceeds from concept to production to operation.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Safety Management System of Design organization & SMS culture

  • Responsible for development and practical implementation of safety management methodologies and techniques including safety risk assessments, hazard evaluations, utilize human factors principles to drive improvements in order to eliminate human errors

  • Leading / coaching teams and training as an authority on technical matters relating to SMS, Part 21 and other legal requirements and advise on legal and normative requirements

  • Organize, lead, and perform regular SMS Audits

  • Communication with relevant Authorities

  • Work with remote team members from a diverse array of disciplines to utilizing a strong attention to detail to complete project work without direct, day-to-day supervision

Required Qualifications

  • Safety Management System experience in Aviation Engineering/Technology

  • This role requires significant experience in the Engineering/Technology & Product Safety. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

  • Mandatory English language
