Manage the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Place and follow-up on POs according to suggestions from ERP

  • Manage relationships with suppliers from all over the world for PO execution. Manage problems and schedule changes. Update ERP

  • Present current status at internal LOB calls - escalate if any problem occurs

  • Cooperate on claim process together with other involved departments (Quality, Sourcing, Logistics)

  • Cooperate on AP resolution with external supplier

  • Participate on process of implementation of serial production of new product - interact with other departments e.g. Planning, Warehouses, Quality, Sourcing, Engineering...

Required Qualifications

  • Degree from an accredited university or a high school diploma

  • Proven experience from similar position

  • Experience with working with ERP system (Oracle EBS, SAP,..)

  • Fluent in English - daily use both written and spoken

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
