Job Description Summary
Manage the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets.
Roles and Responsibilities
Place and follow-up on POs according to suggestions from ERP
Manage relationships with suppliers from all over the world for PO execution. Manage problems and schedule changes. Update ERP
Present current status at internal LOB calls - escalate if any problem occurs
Cooperate on claim process together with other involved departments (Quality, Sourcing, Logistics)
Cooperate on AP resolution with external supplier
Participate on process of implementation of serial production of new product - interact with other departments e.g. Planning, Warehouses, Quality, Sourcing, Engineering...
Degree from an accredited university or a high school diploma
Proven experience from similar position
Experience with working with ERP system (Oracle EBS, SAP,..)
Fluent in English - daily use both written and spoken
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
