Role Summary:

The Solar Project Coordinator is a member of the Solar Project Management team. The role of Solar Project Coordinator will support the PM team with all aspects of coordination, including contracts, equipment, management activities, supplier needs, bid processes, and will be the point of contact for all project related inquiries.

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition, the Solar Project Coordinator will :

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information

  • Contract coordination, creation, and administration

  • Assist in aspects of permitting

  • Assist with bid process and document organization

  • Update contract deliverable checklists

  • Assist with project mobilization, close out, and deliverable documentation

  • Track and organize quality assurance and control program

  • Process Requests for Information (RFI’s) and project equipment submittals

  • Administer OTR and Material Release meetings

  • PM deliverable audits

  • Assist with all project management functions, including:

  • budget creation

  • schedule tracking

  • tracking quality and safety

  • project reporting

  • contract administration

  • report creation

  • and sales / construction operating IT / software entry

  • Work with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) coordination

  • PLEASE NOTE : Work location listed is Schenectady, NY. However, other US locations may be available for this position, including New York City, NY, Boston, MA and Connecticut Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college / university

  • Minimum of 3 years of project coordination / management experience (Including construction fields) ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT :

  • PLEASE NOTE : Work location listed is Schenectady, NY. However, other US locations may be available for this position, including New York City, NY, Boston, MA and Connecticut Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience using sales / construction operating IT / software systems to track project status, record data and produce reports

  • Experience using cloud based file storage system for project documentation organization

  • Understanding of standard construction processes and documentation

  • Extremely strong organization skills

  • Experience with contract administration

  • Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans

  • Strong MS Office and Project skills
