The GE Transportation Digital Operations team is seeking an experienced Software Support professional to provide Technical Support for the PLM application.
Responsible for managing incidents, problems and service requests for the PLM application
Monitor the Incidents and manage workload in their respective queues to ensure that Service Level Agreement are met
Outage handling within the PLM applications including tasks such as: communications, facilitating call/webex, pulling in required resources/skillsets to restore service
Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide solutions to our users’ needs
Work with team members to troubleshoot application alerts from monitoring tools and follow SOPs to resolve or escalate appropriately
Drive projects that improve support-related processes and our users’ technical support experience with minimal guidance
Create Knowledge Articles or automation for repeatable procedures with a goal of reducing the number of Incidents
Work on critical, highly complex user problems that may span multiple services
Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
B.S in a technical field, such as Computer Science or Information Systems with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the technology space with emphasis on the PLM application OR M.S in a technical field, such as Computer Science or Information Systems with a minimum of 1 year experience in the technology space with emphasis on the PLM applicationEligibility Requirements:

Must be willing to work out of an office located in Erie, PA Desired Characteristics:
A technical engineer, with extensive experience in solving challenging issues in high pressure environment

Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated the ability to assimilate new information and understand complex topics
ITIL certifiedTechnical Expertise:
Development experience within the PLM application
