General Electric Field Service Engineer in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Role Summary:The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for daily field and operational activities to meet service needs of customers’ equipment and for driving customer satisfaction and experience through service excellence, maintaining equipment models belonging to the diagnostic imaging modality

Essential Responsibilities:• System-level troubleshooting and repairs, installation, maintenance on designated equipment

• Completing Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Field Modification Instructions (FMI)

• Ordering parts and managing repair parts cycle times

• Keeping up to date on field administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a rigorous manner

• Maintaining daily communication with customers on equipment status, ensuring timely issue resolution and follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction

• Maintaining tools and test equipment properly and ensuring they are calibrated

• Meeting Environment Health and Safety and/or other applicable regulatory requirements

• Utilizing the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues and conducting root cause analysis to solve problems effectively

• Participating in sales opportunities such as contract renewals and assist with promoting and implementing revenue programs

• Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area

• May include training of clinical staff on designated equipment.

Quality Specific Goals:

• Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

• Identify and report all customer or personal quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization

• Ensure timely dispatch closure

• Ensure completion of all field modifications instructions (FMI’s) within prescribed timeframe

• Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible

Qualifications/Requirements:• Degree level or equivalent in Biomedical / Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Science or equivalent

• Technical and analytical skills, with between 2 to 4 years field services experience

• Good verbal and written communication skills in local language as well as English

• Ability to work independently with minimum direction

• Shows Initiative and motivation

• Plans and organizes work effectively

• Excellent communication skills, listening skills, and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to work during off- hours when there is an urgent and critical equipment issue. This will be balanced among the service team members.

• Ability to travel up to 25%, mostly domestically

• 2 years of specific Radiation/Diagnostic Imaging product experience (e.g. Xray, Mammography, Surgery, Computed Tomography, Magnet Resonance Imaging)

• Knowledge of relevant clinical applications

• Experience in GE products
