Job Description Summary

The Peebles Engineering Test Technician will perform technical assignments involving engine operation, assembly, and maintenance under the leadership of production staff.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assembly, prep to test, dprep, and test among several commercial engine product lines

• Ensure that all work accomplished meets quality standards

• Test cell throttle operator responsible for engine operation and cell maintenance

• Assist in installing engines in the test stand and setup for test

• Assist in the operation of the current family of engines, following approved work requests, and ensuring the engine is operated within published limits

• Maintain good communications with support organizations and the team

Required Characteristics

• High School diploma or GED equivalent

Desired Characteristics

• FAA Part 65 Airframe and Powerplant Certificate

• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively

• Ability to perform in a self-directed team environment

• Must be able to follow instructions, learn, understand, and comply with jet engine maintenance procedures and regulations

• Knowledge of borescope

• Preliminary Review approved

• Designated Inspector

• Engine test site operation

• Equipment operation, i.e., fork truck, transporter & tug

• Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn
