Job Description Summary
The CNC Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician safely and independently performs preventive, routine, and reactive maintenance tasks. This role is a GE Power business which offers cooling hole technologies in the power generation and aerospace industries to increase engine efficiency. Repair, maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines.
Perform predictive, preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance.
Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Use manuals, technical drawings, equipment vendors and other resources for problem solving.
Calibrate process control equipment and instrumentation.
Document work activities using CMMS.
Associates degree in a technical field from an accredited university/college with a minimum of 2 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 5 years CNC maintenance.
Ability to read and understand schematics, diagrams, and drawings for electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical equipment.

Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekends, as required.
Ability and willingness to qualify for / utilize specialized personal protective equipment as required for the position, including arc flash and fall protection.
Ability and willingness to obey all safety rules, including wearing personal protective equipment (i.e., steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection in designated areas).
Working knowledge of CNC controls, mechanical, electrical, and electronic principles.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in electro-mechanical, industrial control, servo, pneumatic, hydraulic, and pump systems.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
Self-motivated and results driven.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Basic computer skills.
