General Electric Senior Treasury Manager in Overland Park, Kansas

Role Summary:

Responsible for all banking and treasury management functions with primary responsibility for leading incoming and outgoing cash effectively daily and optimizing funding status of the company’s various reinsurance Trusts.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for forecasting cash position and requirements through analysis of investment plans and budgetary needs.

  • Partner with the Chief Investment Officer and external asset managers, to develop strategies to minimize idle cash across the company and to develop funding plans for new investment mandates and operating cash needs.

  • Lead analysis and recommendations of short-term cash options for the company to minimize yield drag.

  • Coordinate activities across various external asset managers to ensure most efficient sourcing of cash needs and regular rebalancing of trust asset requirements.

  • Advise and coordinate with cross functional teams, particularly investments, FP&A and accounting functions to maintain accurate operating metrics.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or Business preferred with 8+ years of experience in Finance and/or Business Management

  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership role of significant scope

  • Experience running a strategic business priority that requires working across multiple functions and senior management.
