General Electric Site Finance Manager in Oslo, Norway
Job Description Summary
You, as our new Oslo Finance Manager (here after FM) will be responsible for providing finance leadership for the GE Healthcare Pharmaceutical Manufacturing site based in Oslo, Norway. You will oversee all areas of finance for the site including Integrated Supply Chain (here after ISC) and new products introduction (NPIs), drawing upon the services of Global CoE’s as required.
This is a Business Partnering role and includes activities such as financial planning & budgeting, management accounting and performance measurement for the Site.
This is a critical operational and trusted business advisory role and part of the Site Leadership Team. It combines business partnering skills with a strong finance background to support the Site Leader and Leadership team.
You will need to act with initiative and autonomy to provide the required level of support to the Oslo Leadership Team and foster a trusted business partnership role.

Job Description
Essential responsibilities
Partner with business leadership and staff to drive operating performance & act as champion for strategic and growth initiatives within the organization
Oversee financial integrity and consistent and effective policies and procedures for the Plant
Building and maintaining a culture of cost control and accountability
Ownership for developing Plant estimates, operating plans/forecasts/reviews – includes Strategy Roadmap (3/5-year Plan), Blueprint/OP (1-year Plan)
Driving profitable growth & productivity by providing analysis of results and reporting key metrics while advising the leadership team on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions
Develop and improve financial processes: Finance reporting tools, Management reporting tools, budgeting and estimating processes, standard Production Cost set ups and analyses, Capital Investment.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and relevant financial work experience including developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews
Excellent analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
Capable of forging strong relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues
Fluency in written and spoken English and Norwegian

Leadership experience: has experience balancing execution through others with inclusiveness, leveraging expertise, clear thinking, imagination, and external focus
Problem solving: has successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within the operations/finance function
Excellent verbal and written communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level) and functions; able to clearly and proactively communicate complex financial and operational information in an easy to understand manner
Confidence / Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position
Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros)
Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows
Experience in dealing with statutory audit process and communication with external auditors
Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances
Basic understanding of financial compliance: SOX, GAAP
Masters’ degree in Business Administration
Reporting lines
You will reports direct line to the PDx ISC CFO and dotted line to the Oslo Site leader. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, Global HQ functional leads and the shared services centers in Hungary, China and India.
