For a 6-month paid internship, you will support the FP&A Cash & Sourcing Lead Finance Analyst of Noventa di Piave plant.
Main duties will be dealing with the several GE Italian product lines across Italy on various tax and accounting related topics, such as:
Ensure strategic vendors’ invoices are booked in timely for payment (Vendor Care Program)
Oversee Interco reconciliation and take action for aged items
Support/Perform AR/AP/Cash accounting processes providing support or guidance when necessary
Respond to Central COE’s and BU in area of competence (AR-AP-Cash) as local point of reference
Complete Treasury activities in relation to bank guarantees and related repository tool ALOC
Support Finance Team on ad-hoc requests related to tax, accounting or new projects
At the end of the assignment the intern will have acquired a deep understanding of both business dynamics and system technicalities (SAP), creating a solid foundation for a future career in finance in GE.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge / experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Fluency in Italian & English
EU Work Permit
