General Electric Fulfillment Customer Support Coordinator in Norwich, New York
Job Description Summary
This role requires direct interaction with Customers, most internal functions, and receives guidance from the internal Fulfillment Team. The primary priority is customer satisfaction / deliver with focus!
This role will support the Fulfillment Leaders by interacting directly with customers and giving shipping direction for specific accounts. The Fulfillment Coordinator will be the key contact for the Overhaul shop providing updates to customer on status of their repairs and provide daily and weekly reports internally and to external customers.
The Fulfillment Coordinator role requires the ability to communicate at all levels both internally and with the customer. The role will support meeting key metrics which include inventory reduction and on time delivery. This role requires the ability to handle multiple different tasks and be an active member of the Norwich team. Excellent communication and Microsoft Excel skills are key to success in this position.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Works closely with order management and planning on identifying missed P.O.’s and alignment of orders to resolve any shipment restrictions.
Expedites critical customer orders and updates customers on current status.
Works closely with Stockroom, Bond Room and Shipping to resolve any issues with critical customer shipments.
For critical customer parts, highlights key purchase part shortages to planning/source fulfillment team to expedite with suppliers; expedites purchase parts through receiving area and actively works to resolve issues with appropriate personnel.
Observes and executes opportunities to ship product to help reduce inventory.
Completes all planned compliance training within defined deadlines.
Is the lead focal point between Overhaul and customer contact on status of repairs.
Works cross-functionally within Unison facilities to provide hardware delivery commits to the customer.
Interacts with commercial team to resolve external customer issues.
Participates in internal and external customer meetings.
Interacts at all levels of the organization; manages multiple tasks and establishes effective work priorities.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of materials management/flow experience).
Desired Characteristics:
Actively participates in a teaming environment that uses Lean and 5S practices to improve products and processes.
Experience in Material flow related to Sourcing, Purchasing, Production, Customer Engagement, etc.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Proven organizational ability.
Proficient ERP and Microsoft Office skills.
The base pay range for this position is $62,400 - $93,500. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on December 18 2023.
