General Electric Associate, Energy Financial Services in Norwalk, Connecticut
Role Summary:These roles are an integral part of (1) the deal teams that execute new energy project finance transactions and (2) the Capital Markets teams that syndicate those investments in the EFS portfolio by providing due diligence, financial modeling, and analysis. Primary responsibilities include the underwriting, closing, and funding of equity and debt transactions, as well as advisory, structuring and asset sale execution services for the GE Industrial Businesses and their customers globally.
Essential Responsibilities:- Analyze and/or develop financial models and projections
Conduct industry/company research, including risk analysis
Perform valuation analysis for projects and companies
Assist in preparing credit requests and other supporting documentation for internal approval process and internal reports
Support the team in syndication efforts of EFS investments
Assist in the day-to-day management of EFS investment, including internal reporting requirement (ex. Income forecast etc)
Oversee all ongoing servicing activities and serve as primary point of contact for commercial financing transactions according to documented requirements and operational procedures.
Manage projects to ensure administrative compliance with deal terms and establish, implement, and monitor reporting metrics for Operations.
Possess good understanding of procedures and concepts within own discipline.
Possess good understanding of how the team integrates with other teams in accomplishing objectives
Develop and execute process improvement projects.
Maintain deal management information systems.
Qualifications/Requirements:- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3 years of experience in finance or banking industry
Strong financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and valuation skills
Experience preparing financial information, interpreting financial performance, and assessing risk exposure
Ability to collaborate across commercial and functional teams
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
