Job Description Summary
• Preparing winning proposals to achieve the orders operating plan
• Meeting customer’s priorities in terms of time schedule, price, scope, from commercial and technical aspects.
• Managing the assigned tendering workload inclusive of diversified enquiries
Roles and Responsibilities
Technical Proposals Management
Technical Analysis of customer needs/RFQ to define and offer products/Service/Solutions based on DS Agile / G500/ GPG/ AAA portfolio, Micom and Multilin range of products
Ensure Complaint offer to the technical specifications in accordance with tender requirement
Identify & Flag Key Risks and ensure the mitigation plan in R&O register
Managing & Implementation of the ROE
Ensure proposals are in accordance with commercial and execution strategies
Ensure technical Derogation and NPI approvals if applicable for technical solution.
Ensure completion of site assessments (site visit/review)
Maintaining the Typical circuits /schemes /solution in DSTT to facilitate future offerings
Ensure the respect of technical and commercial offers time schedule to serve sales force in due time and due quality level
Review and respond to Technical Clarifications of bid
Support order booking as per signed contract/PO, ensure P&L bookings (CM, prices) & drive an improved OTR turnover process
Support the Sales team in commercial and technical meetings/negotiations with customers
Ensure the complete bid management phases (R0, R1, R2, R3) to ensure compliance to policy 5.0 of Grid Solutions and guidelines of Grid Automation Business
Ensure conducting different tender reviews (DD0, DD1 & DD2) as per deadlines
Conduct Transfer Meeting + hand over relevant documents to operations team
Costing and Pricing Analysis
Responsible for review and analysis of cost and price preparation & calculations
Responsible for having formal quotes of third-party products/systems and updating in DSTT in line with sourcing
Responsible for ensuring correct Labor rates in DSTT in accordance with latest updates
Cost Optimization & Risk Analysis: Challenge product/solution costs and delivery costs in tenders
Commercial/ Technical win loss Analysis of Bids
Review and maintain Hit Rate
B.S Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Master’s in engineering degree, or Business is a plus
Min. 3 years’ experience in tendering/commercial function.
Deep Knowledge and understanding of GE Policies, portfolio
Understanding and Knowledge of customer requirements and Specifications in MENAT is a plus
Understanding and Knowledge of GE Financial Instructions and Policies, (FI08, EAS, FI12, FI 13, FI64 etc.)
Understanding of GS Commercial Contracting Guidelines
Understanding of SPEAK4GE
Good Interpersonal Skills
