Responsible for activities related to the construction, building and commissioning on customer site, from site mobilization, through civil, erection and commissioning work, as well as management activities related to this scope. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).
Essential Responsibilities :
Ensuring Site Commissioning personnel have the necessary tools and procedures for work during Startup & Commissioning.
Organize other resources like contract manpower support, portable generators, maintenance materials in coordination with PM & sourcing for the projects in the region.
Provides inputs for I&C execution costs, Scheduling, Reliability test processes during new project signing stage, Own and drive the I&C spares order & stock maintenance for the projects in the region, help site team on any escalation of System Now case materials order with Sourcing / issue resolution with Engineering as required.
Responsible for the coordination of project specific controls development
Drive the Red Flag Reviews, TCMT set up for parameter generation, R5 hand over processes for respective projects with Engineering & Requisition team.
Staffing sites with the correct mix of experienced engineers and trainees.
Ensuring commission and start up personnel are trained and can perform duties at site level on Wind turbine commissioning, SCADA Inst&Comm, Networking, Condition Based Monitoring testing & commissioning.
Coordinate with Project Manager as required & update PM& Leadership on commissioning activities for the region. Connect with Global comm Managers, Engineering team, Methods & process team for any Process change/ Improvement Programs, Retrofits activities, issue specific RCA implementations for the region.
Ensuring the sites follow Logic Chance protocols and procedures , Conducting site audits as directed by the Field Operations Leader.
More than 3 years of experience in lead roles.
Industry recognized Qualification HNC, City & Guilds, NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical, Hydraulic or Electrical Engineering fields
