Job Description
The Learning & Edison Program Leader will be responsible for the full Edison program experience and inspiring the next generation of technology leaders.
For the Edison program the Leader will be responsible for the full program experience for on-program Edisons, including recruiting and onboarding top talent, curation and matching of rotational assignments, developing and facilitating technical and leadership education and transitioning Edisons to off-program roles upon graduation from the program. The Leader will identify exciting short term technical program opportunities and recruit interns and intern fellows to serve as a pipeline for the Edison program and full-time hires.
The Learning & Edison Program Leader will be responsible for technical, soft skills and leadership learning experiences, managing the Learning Management System, and ensuring government compliance with legal training requirements.
As a Learning & Edison Program Leader, you will
Cultivate a strong network with GE Vernova Research leaders to curate and support high quality, strategic, and impactful rotations and internships
Provide support and guidance to program members and Interns, collect performance feedback, and deliver professional coaching
Partner with Talent Acquisition to hire top talent recruits in critical technical disciplines and in support of the GE Vernova Research diversity strategy
Develop & oversee technical & professional development experiences and curriculum for the Edison program
Partner with HR and the technology leaders to maintain an Internship Program that serves as a pipeline for Edison Program & new hire top talent
As a member of the learning & technical development team, you will be pulled into exciting technical learning projects that touch technologists across the GE Vernova research center.
Work with the GE Vernova Leadership Program and University Recruiting teams as focal for U.S. university relationships, campus recruiting, etc.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Science, or other STEM field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering/Technology
Experience mentoring, coaching and guiding individuals along a technical career path
Experience with campus recruiting, conducting candidate interviews and candidate assessments
Strong project management skills and focus; set strategic priorities, data-driven decisions, and critical thinking
Must be willing to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $240,000 USD annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
