Job Description Summary
The GE Research Technical Development team sets and executes the strategy for technical learning and early career programs, including the Edison Program.
The Edison Program Operations Leader is responsible for administration and coordination of the GE Research Edison Program curriculum, producing high quality technical and leadership learning experiences that develop the next generation of research technologists.
Job Description
As the Edison Program Operations Leader, you will
Partner with the GE Research Edison Leader and other key stakeholders to source and develop appropriate content; act as producer for overall successful delivery of live virtual and in-person education events.
Utilize standard work processes to deliver high-quality learning experiences. Responsibilities may include calendar management, faculty management, vendor management, and facility management.
Oversee all aspects of coordination, logistics, and support for the GE Research EEDP curriculum addressing technical, leadership, and professional development for early career program members.
Create and execute communication to customers and stakeholders.
Track and report relevant metrics of EEDP program execution, including administration of rotation assignments in digital management tools (including Workday) and quarterly hours performance reporting.
Work closely with Talent Acquisition, the EEDP Manager, and cross-org stakeholders to facilitate the EEDP recruiting & onboarding process, promoting a flawless candidate experience.
Additionally, as a member of the Technical Development Team, you will be pulled into exciting technical learning projects that touch technologists across GE Research.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Technology, Science, or other STEM field from accredited university
At least 5 years of experience in Engineering/Technology
Must be willing to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY
