Role Summary:

The Quality Technician performs quality inspection tasks, verifies inspection data, and troubleshoots data.

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition, as the Quality Technician, you will:

  • Performs quality inspection tasks such as:

  • operating various precision measuring equipment

  • compiling inspection data

  • record keeping

  • report generation, etc.

  • Verifies inspection data – attribute and variable to determine conformance and compliance to drawings and specifications

  • Capable of detecting and troubleshooting obvious erroneous inspection data - gross graphical anomalies

  • Adherence to all team norms

  • Follows Newark QMS and adheres to work applicable procedures Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED

  • 1 year quality experience in a manufacturing environment Desired Characteristics: Desired Characteristics :

  • Basic knowledge of laboratory practices and instrumentation (balances, microscopes, ovens, etc.)

  • 3 years of experience performing mechanical testing in a lab environment (preferred)

  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are required

  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively within a diverse teaming environment with minimal supervision

  • Basic knowledge of NDE techniques desired
