Engineer will be responsible for effective coordination of certification programs, overall responsibility for execution of GE products homologation in Russia/CIS region and abroad.
Working with Governmental Authorities to drive certification / homologation of GE TransportationLocomotives and GE equipment in Russia/CIS region as well as coordinating with test centersand other organizations involved into certification process.
Managing certification process, determining potential risks and working out risk mitigation plans.
Identifying ways and resources required for certification / homologation procedure.
Working out, maintaining, and reporting certification process schedule.
Analyzing homologation processes of other countries, elaborating optimal ways for locomotives’operation allowance.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
At least 5 years of experience in heavy equipment certification roles.
Experience working on certification projects with SS FZhT system.
Fluent in Russian and English languages (writing, reading, speaking, listening).
Must have legal work authorization to work in Russian Federation.
Experience with certification of rail transport (preferable diesel locomotives).
Experience working with Russian and foreign product design documentation (drafting, specifications, technical conditions, testing validation documents).
Strong project management skills.
Strong communication skills.
