General Electric Digital Product Specialist – Finance IT Service in Monterrey, Mexico

Job Description Summary

As the Digital Product Specialist – Finance IT Services you will: a) own the strategic roadmap for our Finance IT Services ; b) partner with business senior and operational leadership to create a clear strategic direction that effectively addresses the evolving needs between our internal Stakeholders, external Customers and government/tax entities across the world for the Finance Operations/Cash Receivables, Controllership and Stat/Tax business teams; c) collaborate with the Principal Finance Architect in the technical and business discussions relative to the definition and development of the current and future Finance IT architectures; d) communicate the agreed strategic roadmap to our internal IT engineering and manage our partner/vendor services teams; and e) support the requirements gathering, evaluation, analysis and design of the associated Finance IT Services.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Own, lead and coordinate the Finance IT Services product roadmap in accordance with evolving business challenges and requirements.

  • Analyze, design, and develop a product roadmap and implementation plan based upon all relevant data points such as business needs, priorities, technical capabilities, etc.

  • Participate in and constantly evaluate and validate the product governance.

  • Coordinate the development of product features that are customer-focused, scalable and that can be orchestrated together or with other Finance IT solutions.

  • Lead research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends.

  • Own the short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases

  • Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of business needs

  • Demonstrate expert level skill in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity

  • Own and manage the backlog; continuously order and prioritize across geographies to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready

  • Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborate on personas

  • Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer and engineering/vendor developments teams

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

  • A minimum of +5 years of technical experience with Automation and/or Data Integration solutions.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in India, Mexico or Hungary is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job

Desired Characteristics:

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of Python, data mapping (XML), data integration (API development), data cleanup, data quality and secure data transfer (SFTP) technologies.

  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation technologies

  • Experience working in Agile project management/LEAN methodologies

  • Experience working with Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and/or Machine Learning models

  • Familiarity with Cloud solutions (AWS/Azure)

  • Familiarity with Electronic Signature/QR code

  • Familiarity with Archiving technologies

  • Familiarity with EDICOM, PwC and/or SOVOS Data Exchange Cloud solutions will be preferred but not necessary
