General Electric Sr Staff Program Manager in Minato, Japan

Role Summary:

The Senior Staff Program Manager will oversee multiple, large-scale, high-impact activities within the Digital Transformation (DT) organization. This role will service as the main point of contact for the DT Leader, helping to define the competitive strategy, service offerings, and future state of a new DT organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

Digital Transformation is an integral part of GE Digital, partnering with our largest clients to define and enable insights-led transformation. As a Program Manager in our DT practice, you will play a critical role in helping our clients tackle complex business issues. You will develop and deliver analytically-informed, issue-based solutions that help clients make faster, smarter decisions. Specifically, you will help sell and deliver digital strategy and transformation programs including defining a digital vision & strategies, redefining the operating model & talent strategy, and managing the change journey to deliver sustainable business value. You will act as the digital “value architect” for our most transformative opportunities, enabling an end-to-end digital journey by bringing the best of GE Digital and your industry knowledge to our clients. As a Program Manager you will also play a key role on the leadership team—building the practice, assets and thought leadership.

In this role, you will:

• Lead major strategy, operations, and program initiatives in support of GE Digital’s DT Leader

• Identify and understand business needs and articulate them to leadership, consulting teams, and corporate partners effectively

• Leverage commonalty between industries, see the trends and be an ambassador on how to position digital solutions effectively to drive change within customer accounts

• Manage relationships and aspects of client engagement and interaction, including advising on strategy and technology

• Articulate and sell the GE Digital strategy

• Report out to C-level executives on a regular basis

• Lead a matrixed team working on customer initiatives and coordinate work across multiple CSO functions

• Interact with leadership teams at all levels in the organization to provide updates and to gather feedback

• Design and manage budgetary and operational frameworks within customer segments

• Build effective dashboards for frequent reviews with GE senior leaders and customers

• Anticipate challenges and resolve conflicts

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

• MBA from an accredited university or college

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer management, program management, or related roles
