This individual will conduct Safety Meetings, review JSAs, and maintain a safe and neat workplace.
Ensure that the site’s EHS Plan and Procedure is fully implemented.
Complete assigned inspections and ensure findings are tracked.
Ensure that the EHS Policy is posted on the site’s EHS board and is communicated to all employees.
Ensure the site’s Simplified Work Plan (SWP) is reviewed and updated at least annually.
Cooperate with EHS Manager so far as necessary for the employer to fulfill his legal duties
Ensure all the necessary EHS documents are in place
Take necessary EHS trainings provided by company
Take reasonable care of his/her own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by his/her acts or omissions at work
Report all the accidents and near misses spotted in workplace
manage/support Special tools and Training Programs
manage operational KPIs of project & service team
Be responsible to carry out task safely
Over 5 years’ experience in a developmental role with demonstrated knowledge of applicable environmental health and safety regulations is required.
Business level English and Japanese
Provide hands-on trainings as both an individual contributor and as a facilitator.
Ability to travel frequently e.g. 30% of business day
Driver’s license in Japan
Be fine with heights
Behavioral and Technical Skills/Competencies
Experience in Wind Business
Licensed electrical engineer (preferable)
Experience of GWO training or Rope Access training (preferable)
