Job Description Summary
Commercial Finance Manager – Japan Imaging ($240MM annual equipment sales/ 600MM Franchise sales) is responsible for providing strategic finance leadership, for GE Healthcare, Imaging in Japan
The Commercial Finance Manager provides business partnership to Japan IMG GM and his leadership team to drive business initiatives, growth, business strategy and profitability.
The role reports to the Japan CFO, GE Healthcare Japan and closely working with IMG GM, and global modality HQ Finance team
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Business Partnering
Business growth & profitability (NPI, product configuration, Sub-modality profitability)
Commercial finance/pricing support
Execution of short /long-term plan/target through continuous PDCA cycle to meet the target
QBR/Other Product Review prep and participation
Investment prioritization with agility
Arranging customer financing /deal suturing
Arranging strategic alliance & partnership with external parties (e.g. dealers, partners)
Transform commercial organization into more contemporary /lean one by adapting available technologies, and the environment with/after COVID-19
Planning and Analysis
Growth Play Book, Operating Plan, and/or other strategic business cases
Orders/Sales/Backlog
Sub-modality Sales/COGS/SM
Base cost/Headcount
Revenue walk, CM walk, BC walk
Recasts
Standards change analysis
Cash (Inventory, Receivables)
Business controllership, business tracking, reporting
Support for closing & reporting (Monthly)
Support for Variable comp - design, monitoring, evaluation, and booking (quarterly)
Monitor progress toward final landing with accuracy
Business Project
Kaizen initiatives – (ex) Sales phasing linearity improvement
Qualifications/Requirements
BA in finance or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Min 8 years of Experience in finance and accounting, with a sound knowledge of US GAAP, regulations and local GAAP
Strong verbal & written communications skills in English and Japanese
Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
