General Electric Transparency and Monitoring Analyst in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Job Description Summary
The Transparency and Monitoring Analyst will provide leadership and oversight to business operations to assure adherence to all aspects of internal company and external regulatory compliance. The analyst will ensure appropriate mechanisms are in place to comply with relevant laws and regulations, and adherence to corporate programs and practices.
This role will focus on data management and reconciliation, analytics and insight generation as well as leverage these insights to recommend and implement process improvements. During the disclosure periods, the analysts will manage all Domestic US reporting/submission and be the primary day-to-day point of contact for detailed preparation and readiness activities
Serve as a subject matter expert on US Domestic transparency reporting requirements. Stay informed about external developments on transparency requirements and related enforcement.
Take a support role with respect to external advocacy on transparency related issues with regulatory agencies and industry associations. In conjunction with the Global Transparency Leader, interpret transparency laws and regulations for their applicability and impact to GE Healthcare.
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including regional compliance and legal, controllership, finance, sourcing, and business operations to execute deliverables.
Data Management, Reconciliation and Analysis
Monitor and maintain data reference information [e.g. all AST back-end tables, mappings and hierarchies,]; primary point of contact with the IT function.
Work with cross-functional business owners to resolve data issues, ensure data is accurately collected and entered to the applicable source system, manage data reconciliation activities between the data repository and disclosure reporting,
Manage onboarding of new data providers,
Manage day-to-day disclosure activities during reporting period, investigate and manage remediation of any data issues identified
Run data analyses on transparency data to help ensure completeness and accuracy, research and generate insights based on the data, for example, trend and outlier analysis to identify areas for further research or remediation, identify and investigate data anomalies.
Monitoring and Audit Activities
Support monitoring and auditing roadmaps and work activities.
Work with the monitoring and auditing region leaders to identify transparency-related trends that inform monitoring and audit priorities.
Apply LEAN Principles – Process improvement, efficiency and simplification
Partner with cross functional business owners to create new business processes or close gaps in existing processes, identify process gaps and works with appropriate Functions on corrective measures,
Create and maintain documentation for new and existing transparency processes, map upstream/source data processes to review for opportunities and improvement related to transparency data capture
