General Electric Medical Affairs Internship in Milan, Italy

Job Description Summary

We are looking for young graduated for an internship in Medical Affairs, office position. She/he will supports the development/launch of GE HealthCare products through scientific exchange, with main objective to understand the therapeutic environment and needs. She/he responds to unsolicited requests from internal and external clients for scientific information, will prepare and supports the development of the material needed for the training, hospital meeting and medical marketing .

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The Medical Affair intern will be involved in the Contrast Media business and will support the following projects in the Medical Department:

  • Administrative and scientific task: update medical database for queries

  • support on AIFA and region regular communication for Scientific Information task

  • Rapiscan portal: support on “Rapinetwork project “main goal to convey a shared message to cardiologist (FFR and MPI) to make the basis of the rational for FFR and MPI vs competitors

We need to increase training material and scientific materials as much as possible to drive the cardiologist to know these molecules also in prospective of new indications.

Support in Advisory Board organization, as well as hospital meeting/webinar, with a special focus on Oncologic patients.

Requirements

  • MSc in Life sciences (Medicine, Bioengineering, Pharmacy, CTF, Biology,) with medical/technical background

  • Fluent in Italian (mother tongue level), Fluent in English (oral and written)

Desired Characteristics

  • Knowledge of clinical medicine/research , medical devices, disease management

  • Ability to understand and convey emergent scientific information

  • Proven ability to use IT tools and interface effectively with a variety of technical platforms

  • Strong personal integrity

  • Excellent interpersonal communication, and presentation skills. Able to effectively contribute and work on multifunctional teams. Must be able to adapt, organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing field-based environment
