General Electric AW - Applications Consultant in Milan, Italy

Role Summary:In this role, you, as an Applications Consultant are responsible for providing workflow and clinical applications support during the sales process, customer installation and beyond, focusing on advanced 3D applications, image post-processing and collaboration solutions.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • You will be a key member of the Delivery team whose role is to provide solution configuration, customer training preparation, training delivery and documentation. The role also includes supporting the customer during the Go-live of a solution as well as providing ongoing support for customers along with the GE Healthcare Services team

  • You will support the sale of GE Healthcare Enterprise Digital Solutions to customers by assisting the Sales teams with pre-sale demonstrations and presentations

  • You will work on site or remotely depending on the business requirements, with a focus on the Southern European markets but also support in other geographies if there is a business need

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Certified radiographer (or equivalent knowledge or experience)

  • Significant experience in diagnostic radiology with demonstrated skills in general imaging and a strong background in MRI, CT and/or Nuclear Medicine (PET-CT)

  • Clinical experience in large hospital/university setting preferred

  • Current GE product experience necessary (AW Workstation, AW Server)

  • High IT affinity

  • Used to use MS Office applications in daily work

  • You like traveling, and appreciate a customer-oriented position

  • You are flexible and strong in communication (ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, to external customers, global counterparts and to team members in other functional organizations)

  • Strong presentation skills (public speaking and lecture experience desired)

  • Beside local language, English language is required due to an international business environment

  • Proven professional business acumen

  • Working independently in mission-based teams, with a strong problem-solving and decision-making competence is a matter of course for you

  • EU work permit
