Roles and Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for overseeing the software quality control of the overall platform with reach into the broader organization for best practices application.
Conducting Software tests by implementing, documenting and improving our test automation suites and policies.
Documenting Software Issues by looking at and detecting possible coding problems and make recommendations to fix them.
Process Improvement: The manager of Software Quality Assurance will help improve and remove waste from the different processes in the SDLC with a focus on release quality.
Continuous Education: This role must participate in continuous learning programs as indicated by industry standards.
People Leader: This role includes people leader responsibilities to hire, manage, train and coach as needed the QA team of engineers.
Work closely with product and development teams to identify and understand key features of the functionality.
Produce reports expressing a concise and clear picture of the software quality of the different development groups.
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and 6+ years of relevant experience OR a H.S. Diploma and 10+ yrs. of relevant experience.
U.S. work authorization is required, we will not sponsor work Visa's now or in the future for this position.
Must be willing to work on site 3 days a week when we return to the office.

Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
3+ years of experience leading projects or managing Quality Assurance including planning and managing automated testing.
5+ years Proven track record demonstrating the ability to build a team – attracting, hiring, retaining, motivating the best engineers.
5+ years Strong software engineering and development life cycle knowledge.
2+ years Knowledge testing highly available and distributed web applications and services.
2+ years Knowledge testing messaging systems with high integration to cloud vendors for databases and other PaaS technologies.
5+ years. Experience with issue-tracking and agile project management systems.
