The Automatic Machine Operator- 2nd shift will set up and operate the wing and tangent bender line, the automatic roll form line, bus bar fabricating equipment, the Finn Power Shear Genius, Trumpf, Salvagnini and/or other assigned equipment. In this role, you will have full ownership responsibilities of these lines to produce acceptable quality parts to stated schedules.
As the Automatic Machine Operator- 2nd shift, you will:
Produce schedule interface with system driven ordering
Supply parts to Assembly for stock and special requirements
Troubleshoot electronic controls and mechanical equipment
Support machine preventive maintenance
Maintain raw material availability
Train helpers as required
High School Diploma / GED
Minimum of 1 year of fabrication experience
Associate's Degree in Electro-mechanical or Electronics Technology from an accredited university or college
Familiarity with inventory concepts
Intermediate computer skills
Ability to troubleshoot / perform minor repair on mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
Ability to understand / carry out oral and written instructions
