Job Description Summary

Aero Alliance Massa Shop Lean Leader will support the Business Excellence & Lean function in preparing, equipping, and supporting people to successfully adopt change that drives desired outcomes.

A systematic approach to BE/Lean is needed when change is extensive and/or when people are not co-located. It quantifies the change, identifies the impacted stakeholders, sets strategic expectations, improves communications, mitigates risk & ensures that the right people are engaged in the right way at the right time.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Support Global BE Leadership to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for ongoing BE & Lean initiatives to track continual progress

  • Fully engage with key stakeholder team supporting the implementation through to completion of the new Massa R&O business

  • Lead & drive stakeholder analysis, Change management & Risk mitigation through KPI’s

  • Lead & execute business TAT reduction, BE & Lean initiatives using standardized Aero Alliance tools & processes

  • Identify opportunities to eliminate waste & non-value-added actions along with areas that lend themselves to automation & the removal of manual effort activities on prioritized processes & projects.

  • Lead Lean initiatives in the shop, driving sustainable process improvements through Gemba and Action Work Outs (AWOs) to execute on business & customer CTQs

  • Continually engage with all Massa Shop teams to drive & support cross team objectives

  • Partner, advise & support cross functional teams where BE & Lean expertise is required

  • Collaborate with all Aero Alliance employees to make sure they understand & strive to achieve a continual successful “Say Do Ratio” throughout the business

  • Coach, mentor & train employees in Lean concepts by teaching lean tools & methodology

  • Act as the lean champion, driving Lean methodology throughout the Massa business


  • BA/BS degree from an accredited university or college

  • 3/5 years of experience in Business Operations or similar roles.

  • Lean or Business Improvement methodology strong knowledge and proven adoption in the field in previous work experiences

  • Willing to follow full process of Gemba/AWO initiatives from strategy to implementation in the field

  • Strong Leadership, clear-thinking, inclusive and strategic expertise

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, both in Italian & English Language

  • Ability to set own action plans and be proactive

  • Ability to make effective decisions under pressure

  • Ability to think analytically and be an excellent problem solver

  • Strong team player who works to make the entire team successful, not bound by strict role description
