Job Description Summary

Avenza Logistic Leader will be a key role in Aero Alliance Avenza Service Site organization.

She/He will be responsible for the overall logistic activity of B&P, warehouse, handling, storage, customs duties and transportation ensuring flawless execution in terms of EHS, Quality and fulfillment requirements

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for EHS and Quality targets, leading regular inspections and leading company culture values adoption

  • Lead vendors and logistic provider(s) performance and KPIs management

  • Be accountable for warehouse and other logistic areas management

  • Work in synchronization with other Gates teams collaborating to get TAT/OTD targets and the planned financial results of the company

  • Support Vendor Recovery negotiations & results

  • Inbound/Outbound transportation activities

  • Communication on progress and main risks as well as assure full data quality availability

  • Interface with Project Management, Global Supply Chain and Logistics service providers from ITO to OTR to schedule logistic activities to meet contractual obligation and business needs

  • Promote business productivity and growth by reviewing logistic workloads/work scopes and by leading continuous improvement/Lean initiatives

  • Custom duties process mgmt

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Engineering, business or logistic degree from an accredited university or college

  • Proven experience in Supply Chain/Logistics mgmt roles

  • Knowledge of export regulations, foreign customs requirements, letters of credit, trade finance programs, free trade agreements and international logistics and shipping requirements

  • Ability to adapt to / drive change across a global team in a dynamic business environment

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to urgent requests in a timely manner

  • Ability to make decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available information

  • Reading, writing and speaking fluency in Italian and English languages

  • EU work permit
