Job Description Summary

Lead and drive the functional excellence of marketing through for planning, processes, infrastructure, research and analysis, performance management In this position, you will be responsible for all marketing operations and processes within the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics Americas division of GE Healthcare. Specifically, you will be responsible for leading a team of marketing professionals, creating and implementing an Americas website strategy; building and monitoring a robust demand generation process; overseeing the monitoring, and analysis of the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and programs; analyzing market data to guide effective targeting and sales efforts; monitoring budget and spend activities, ensuring compliance with all federal Sunshine Act regulations and reporting efforts,

This position will deliver key insights and recommendations that optimize the performance of the marketing department and marketing programs/campaigns, and will assist the marketing department as a whole in the achievement of its goals.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and build a team of high performing marketing professionals

  • Create a demand generation process that converts marketing tactics into sales qualified leads, in support of sales efforts and revenue goals. Leads demand gen effectiveness efforts, in close alignment with sales organization and needs. Implement improvement processes to deliver the highest quality leads that maximize lead conversion rates.

  • Lead the development and ongoing execution of a new Americas website strategy, in coordination with the global marketing operations team

  • Oversee the utilization of marketing analytics to provide insight into overall market dynamics, market segmentation & sales targeting efforts, as well as marketing communication effectiveness.

  • Responsible for all back-end marketing processes, with support from a team of marketing specialists. Includes all Sunshine Act requirements, federal government reporting regulations, Advertisement & Promotion back end process support, and marketing budget across Americas.

  • Leads data strategy development and infrastructure deployment, including marketing process governance

  • Ensures the successful planning and execution of all marketing events, including tradeshows, webinars, CE efforts, and Americas sales meeting, within budget. Tracks the performance of external events against ROI and recommends the appropriate mix of tradeshow attendance each year.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in marketing or related field

  • Experience leading a marketing operations function, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

  • Demand generation and website experience required.

  • 8+ years marketing or communications experience

  • In-depth knowledge of product offerings and commercial processes.
